This 20,000 square meter Japanese garden was built in 1987 to commemorate the completion of the Yabakei Dam.
The park recreates the mountain stream of Yabakei using tens of thousands of stones and dam water, and features 20,000 trees of 50 different species, ponds, rocks, waterfalls, and more, all in perfect harmony with the seasons. Enjoy the natural beauty created by the interplay of light and shadow.
